Allowing for $50 per day should be enough for souveniers and such.

Depends on what you decide yo buy its better take some money back than run out. Ps most gift shops are overpriced so look at exchange rate to work out how much items cost

The exchange rate is almost $2 to the £1 at the moment and the cost of living here is quite expensive, especially in London, so you would need to make sure that you had quite a bit of money with you. For instance, if you were in London and wanted to buy yourself an ice cream you could expect to get charged in the region of £2 or more…in places there are total rip off merchants who would charge you in the region of £5
If everything else is paid for then I would advise you to budget somewhere in the region of $200 dollars a week…that way you probably wouldn’t be caught short and may even have some left over to take home…
Have a great time while you are over here!
