How much money have the candidates spent trying to get elected?

I told you so asked:
It’s an insane amount, I’m sure.
It’s an insane amount, I’m sure.
If people had so much money to donate, why didn’t they donate it to a charity?
How many children could have been fed, clothed, and sheltered with all that money the perspective candidates have had donated to them?
It just seems unethical to me.

Funny part is was all wasted, even the money spent opening the polls. Super delegates will make the decision without regards to voters.
You would be better off if you appointed me as dictator.
Step 1, synthetic fuel plants.
Step 2. Audit the UN

Charity doesn’t pay them back. Take Chaney’s oil buddies for example. Some bucks for the homeless, or billions for themselves in oil revenue…………………… What’s a little eight year war ancillary price for others to pay.
I give my meager dollars to charity. It has more impact since I don’t have enough to buy a country nor any desire to do so.

well, theyve spent a damn enough amount of money, and id have to agree with you. money talks in this country, it always has and always will. While we sit at home, drinking soda and eating chips that we could do without, children are starving all around the world. While these politicians get splurge on tv ads, countries are being inundated with violence. This is the awful result of capitilism. You;re right; it is very unethical.
