I’m planning to sell my books to a used book store, and I was wondering how much money I would get for them. I live in Ontario, Canada, the tax here is 15%, and I was wondering: How much money can a book sell for, if it’s used. The books I have are in semi-good condition, no scratches or bends. The only imperfection id that my name is on all of them, neatly, on the front and back pages. How much would it sell for at an ordinary used books store?

Ok, so we are going to go do our tax returns, and I was just curious, I still owe money for my student loan ( I am not working but my husband is) I am way behind on paying the student loans and they told me that they could garnish my wages and take money from my tax returns. Will they take that money from my husband just because I am on his taxes? And another question if they ask me if I have a student loan and I say yes, are they going to grant me money to help pay them off, or are they going to take money from his taxes? I don’t plan on dining out expensively often, maybe once or twice, the rest will be like grocery shopping or fast food. I would like to do one or two activities like parasailing or snorkeling. i file my taxes every year no matter how little i make but i still dont understand how doing your income taxes work. how come some of us owe money and others get a refund? if there’s an amount in the federal withholding doesnt that mean you should automatically get some money back? my boyfriend has worked part-time at the same job for more than 3 yrs and he some how has owed money to the IRS every year. how come he gets nothing back? in what conditions will one owe money and in what conditions will one get a refund?

Okay my cousin is in a prison.They send out like these money order slips so you can send them money. How much do people usually send? He is my cousin and we are close. I just don’t want to send to little. I’m OBVIOUSLY new at this. I just would like some input. I don’t know who else to ask and this is kind of personal so I really appreciate it.Thanks so much guys!
He does not owe restitution or punitive damages.
He has never been on drugs, or sold them. He has completely turned his life around. And all I can do is hope it stays that way when he gets out. But for now I want to help. To the people who are leaving mean answers-please stop. I haven’t done anything to deserve that.
He takes the money in his account and buys his own tooth paste, sneakers, and such!!!

The question of all time, so you have a few hundred dollars (and by a few I mean two – three) just lying around and need & want to use them to try and generate some more, but there is a two – three weeks time frame and low risk is a must. So basically I need to make money with the money I have and I don’t have a lot of time and I can’t lose the money.
